Using simple, bold graphics and typography to express complex social messages, Forsaken Circus is among an emerging generation of globally-aware brands that puts principle before profit. Their new website, currently in Beta, uses a customized installation of Avatar X with shopping cart capabilities.
Forsaken Circus had a clear vision for the site—easily matched with Avatar X. Avatar X is an handmade theme for WordPress, built to use the CMS capabilities of WordPress in a design that’s decidedly un-blog. This implementation of Avatar X introduces Instinct’s WP e-Commerce plugin for shopping cart functionality. This plugin plays nice with most popular payment gateways and is highly customizable with CSS, so it can blend seamlessly with the visual elements of the site.
Forsaken Circus is tying up some loose ends and plans to formally launch the site in 2010.
